Biography
After earning a degree in Communications from San Diego State University, Innis found himself drawn to Latin music through the songs of José Alfredo Jiménez. That interest prompted his relocation to Cuernavaca in 1997, where he focused on learning Spanish, and then to Mexico City the following year for instruction in singing, dancing, and guitar.
Beyond music, Innis conveys emotion through painting. He entered into a contract with BMG in July 1998.
His self-titled debut album, produced by Kiko Cibrián and Mariano Pérez, appeared in 2000 and found chart success with the single “Dime Dónde, Dime Cuándo.”
