Jovanie

Known simply as Jovanie, this Brooklyn native brings an energetic approach to pop-oriented R&B singing, with occasional rapping that recalls a young Chris Brown. He developed a following by posting cover versions online and achieved his first proper release at age 12 via the single "Heartbreaker." In 2015, Atlantic signed him to their major label, during which he put out three singles—"Whip," "Ooh Girl," and "What's the Move"—along with the debut album What's the Move, Pt. 2, and served as the opening act for Ne-Yo on several dates. Jovanie came back a couple years afterward with the single "Two Seater," which featured a guest verse from Lil Yachty.
