Based in Virginia Beach, rapper and entrepreneur J.R.Clark pursues enduring hip-hop that reaches broad audiences. A devotee of classic cars, he often centers his rhymes on vintage vehicles, with particular emphasis on lowriders. He first worked in the industry as a studio engineer before launching an independent recording career in 2015, later teaming with Smoke DZA, Stalley, and Cookin' Soul. Projects such as the 2021 album When Muzik Was Good fuse relaxed hip-hop grooves with trap and R&B elements.

Jerry Clark Juneau grew up in Newport News, Virginia. After completing a political science degree at Liberty University and a graduate degree at Regent University, he spent four years in the United States Army. He began his music path as a studio engineer, capturing sessions for numerous Virginia rappers across six years prior to issuing his own material. His influences draw from Rick Ross, Curren$y, J. Cole, and Nipsey Hussle. The 2015 release That Weekend marked his recording debut, followed by Late Night Driving in 2016. Sunset Symphony, his 2018 album, featured appearances from Smoke DZA and Stalley, while 2019's Antique Summer included Fendi P of Curren$y's Jet Life collective. J.R.Clark issued 4EVA Chill But LiT in 2020 and When Muzik Was Good the next year.
