Biography
Juanita Bynum's early years took her across multiple regions of the United States, where she held an assortment of positions entirely outside the spheres of music and faith, all before the appearance of her first album, Morning Glory, Vol. 1: Peace, in 1999. Although raised in a Pentecostal household in Chicago, she did not begin preaching until her move to New York in 1990. Once she identified that pursuit as her vocation, Bynum went on to deliver sermons and addresses at churches nationwide, authored books, established Juanita Bynum Ministries, and issued further albums, among them Morning Glory, Vol. 2: Be Still in 2000 and Piece of My Passion in 2006, the latter released through her own imprint, Flow Records.
