Kane

Emerging from The Hague in the Netherlands back in 1998, alternative rock outfit Kane endured several major personnel shifts across their run yet kept their central duo of vocalist Dinand Woesthoff and guitarist Dennis van Leeuwen intact, allowing the band to realize their ambitions and reach considerable heights. Their inaugural release, the single "Where Do I Go Now" issued in August 1999, entered the Dutch Top 30 and launched an extended run of charting hits. Over the following years Kane delivered a succession of albums—As Long as You Want This in 2000, With or Without You also in 2000, So Glad You Made It in 2001, What If in 2003, February in 2004, and Fearless in 2005—with the majority climbing into the Top Five. The group collected multiple Edison Awards and earned an MTV Europe award for Best Dutch Band. In 2004 DJ Tiësto delivered a remix of their standout single "Rain Down on Me."
