Kenia OS emerged from Mexico as a singer and songwriter who leveraged her substantial digital audience into a thriving music career, exploring an assortment of vibrant, melody-driven styles across the close of the 2010s and the opening years of the 2020s. The year 2022 brought her debut pair of full-length projects, Cambios de Lua and K23. Her song “Malas Decisiones” achieved widespread streaming success and intensified anticipation for the 2024 release of her third album, Pink Aura.

After building a major following through YouTube vlogs under her full name Kenia Guadalupe Flores Osuna, she pursued her recording goals initially as Lizos, introducing her voice with the 2018 ballad “Por Siempre.” Her extensive online base propelled the track to multi-million streams at once, after which she displayed vocal range across the trap-driven “Kenia Roast Yourself,” the pop-oriented “Bonita,” and her introductory EP En Vivo (Acústico). In the next twelve months she broadened her palette of pop expressions through the polished single “Mentiroso,” the reggaeton entry “Delito,” and the ensemble piece “Energía,” each accumulating millions of views. Relationship-focused themes dominated her 2020 output, which featured a string of well-received tracks such as “Escríbeme,” “Tercera Noche,” “Cocteles,” and “Tsunami”; the last of these appeared on the second EP Canciones Pa Mi Ex, a year-ending collection of memorable breakup anthems. Heartbreak motifs persisted into 2021 via the singles “Me Dolió” and “Desamor Feliz (Remix),” while the funk-tinged “La Noche” supplied an infectious, dance-floor-ready addition to her catalog.

The Mexican vocalist reached peak productivity in 2022. Early high-profile team-ups with Snow Tha Product on “Joder” and CNCO on “Plutón” preceded the arrival of her first album, Cambios de Luna, early in the year. That twelve-track collection of fresh material sustained the buoyant, pop-rooted aesthetic that had defined her strongest releases to that point. Only months afterward came the second LP, K23, which extended her pop-funk leanings and lighter subject matter while venturing into club-oriented material and electronic textures. One cut, “Malas Decisiones,” spread virally to become a major streaming success that expanded her reach worldwide. Her 2023 non-album releases included “Más Te Va a Doler” and “Año Sabático,” yet “Ojo x Ojo” marked her next breakthrough; that track joined the Bella Poarch collaboration “F*CK OFF” on the third album Pink Aura, issued in 2024.
