La Musicalité

In 1999 the Spanish pop/rock outfit La Musicalité assembled around vocalist Jaime Perpiñá, keyboardist Oscar Nadal, guitarist Marc Palmer, and drummer Jaume Bou. Although the group began its career in Mallorca, it moved its base to Madrid in summer 2003. Producer Paco Ortega soon took notice there, signing the band to his imprint and facilitating the release of Este Juego. Driven by the hit single “Brisa,” Este Juego moved more than 15,000 copies and opened the door to the well-received follow-up Insomnio, which appeared in 2007. Two years afterward La Musicalité launched its own label. 4 Elementos arrived in November 2009, its title track chosen as the theme for the Spanish adaptation of the American TV show The Walking Dead.
