Biography
A singer in contemporary Christian music whose potent, heartfelt, and sincere vocal delivery aligns with the forward-looking, expansive quality of her songs, Meredith Andrews balances her roles as a recording artist and worship leader. The early-2010s releases As Long as It Takes and Worth It All established her profile through tracks such as "Open Up the Heavens" and "Not for a Moment (After All)," each earning a Dove Award. After those projects secured her standing, Andrews maintained a consistent output and revisited her catalog with the 2024 live album Heaven's Frequency.
Born in Wilson, North Carolina, Meredith Andrews started performing at age six. Following graduation from Wilson Christian Academy and attendance at Liberty University, she launched her professional path with the solo debut Mesmerized in 2005. Her sophomore album The Invitation earned a Dove Award nomination in 2008, while As Long as It Takes captured Praise & Worship Album of the Year honors in 2010. Worth It All, her fourth studio effort, appeared in 2013 and reached the Billboard 200; later that year she issued the Christmas EP Behold the Savior. Deeper, her fifth full-length project, arrived in early 2016, and Receive Our King, a second holiday collection, followed in October 2017.
After unveiling the 2018 single "A Million Saints," she issued the live Faith and Wonder EP in 2019 and an alternate-versions EP drawn from A Million Saints in 2020. That same year she contributed vocals to Dan Bremnes’s "Beautiful (Acoustic)." The Spanish-language album Abrenos Los Cielos emerged in 2021, succeeded by singles spanning 2022’s "Never Known a Love" to 2023’s "God of the Living." Those releases included the collaboration "Make Room" with Sarah Reeves and Chris McClarney, as well as "Psalm 23 (I Am Not Alone)" with Phil King. Early 2024 singles "The Lamb, the Lion, the King" and "Always Do" preceded Heaven’s Frequency, her debut project for Curb.
