The Belonging Co

The Belonging Co functions as a modern praise and worship ensemble tied to the Nashville congregation sharing its title. Its first release, the 2017 album All the Earth, reached number two on the Billboard Christian chart, with subsequent projects including Awe + Wonder in 2019 and Here in 2022.

Henry and Alex Seeley, both originally from Melbourne, Australia, serve as pastors of the church; after founding a worship gathering in their home country, the couple relocated to the United States. They settled in Nashville during 2012, where Henry initially sought production opportunities, yet the pair soon formed ties with other local musicians in search of an inclusive worship setting. What began as home-based meetings evolved into an independent spiritual community that expanded into bigger spaces and established itself as a fixture within the city's religious music scene. In September 2017 Henry Seeley directed a ten-piece ensemble to capture the outfit's inaugural live recording, All the Earth. The group then used its TBCO Music label to release the 2019 live follow-up Awe + Wonder, with the third album See the Light appearing in 2021 before Here arrived the next year.
