Gateway Worship emerged as a leading CCM worship ensemble rooted at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. Active since the early 2000s, the influential collective issued multiple live and studio projects before reaching its commercial apex with the 2015 release Walls, which topped the Christian albums chart. Further momentum arrived later in the decade through Monuments and Greater Than.

One of North America’s largest congregations, the church has enabled sustained growth for the group under Pastor Thomas Miller’s direction, beginning with the 2003 debut Unsearchable. The band’s bright, melody-driven style, supported by a versatile roster of singers and players, has yielded an extensive catalog whose songs now serve as congregational standards worldwide. Early recordings appeared on Integrity, In:Ciite Media, and EMI; a decade after formation, the 2013 anthology First Ten Years marked the anniversary.

Following a 2015 move to Fair Trade Services, a Columbia-affiliated imprint, the ensemble delivered Walls as its sixth live album; the project became its highest-ranking effort, reaching number one on the Christian albums survey and entering the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. That same year’s signing preceded the 2017 studio debut Monuments, credited to GATEWAY. Also in 2017 the group inaugurated its Acoustic Sessions unplugged series with Vol. 1. The 2018 live set Greater Than, captured at the main Southlake sanctuary, extended the run of chart success, and the project See You Move: Acoustic Session, Vol. 2 arrived in 2020.
