Biography
The Argentine Latin rock outfit los Caballeros de la Quema came together in 1989 and delivered its debut independent album, Primavera Negra, in 1991. A contract with Iguana Records, a BMG affiliate, led to the 1993 release of Manos Vacías. Those recordings opened doors for opening-act appearances alongside Joaquín Sabina and, on subsequent South American tours, Aerosmith and the Cult. The band tracked Sangrando in 1994 and also supplied the track “Hola Frank” to a tribute album devoted to Sumo. Singer/songwriter León Gieco joined the sessions for the 1996 album Perros, Perros, Perros, which was followed by the successful La Paciencia de la Araña in 1998. Fulanos de Nadie appeared in mid-2001.
