Biography
Hailing from Germany, the dance-pop ensemble Michael Mind—also identified as the Michael Mind Project—has secured considerable popularity throughout Europe via its electro and house club productions. The project originated with Jens Kindervater and Frank Sanders, a duo of Aachen producers whose extensive histories as DJs and remixers underpin the music. Their initial commercial breakthrough came in 2007 via a dance-oriented take on Bruce Springsteen's "Blinded by the Light" that featured Manfred Mann's Earth Band. The debut Michael Mind album, My Mind, appeared in 2008 and showcased the hits "Show Me Love," "Gotta Let You Go," and "Baker Street." In 2010 Kindervater and Sanders rebranded the act as the Michael Mind Project to underscore its collaborative character while unveiling the new single "Feel Your Body" and preparing a follow-up album.
