Biography
Midnight Red, an American boy band, originated in 2009 under the initial name FLYTE. The five members—Colton Rudloff, Anthony Ladao, Thomas Augusto, Joey Diggs, Jr., and Eric Secharia—connected via their separate pursuits in the music business, which included casting calls for a refreshed Menudo lineup and American Idol auditions. These individuals converged from different U.S. locales, settling in California and eventually drawing the notice of producer Nadir Khayatso, better recognized as RedOne. With RedOne’s assistance, the group landed a deal at Interscope Records, soon building an audience by serving as openers for the NKOTBSB tour. Their self-titled EP arrived during spring 2011. By 2013, Midnight Red had changed imprints from Interscope to Capitol and put out the fresh track “Take Me Home” amid preparations for their first full album.
