Biography
The origins of New Hollow trace to chance meetings among Chad Blashford, Evan West, and Michael Clouse during middle school in New Albany, OH, although the band received its official formation in 2009. Once the members reached high school they committed fully to music, leaving their studies behind to concentrate on vocal harmonies and pop/rock songwriting. Their debut performance came as the opener for American Idol’s David Archuleta, after which they secured a partnership with Justice, the girl’s fashion store previously instrumental in launching Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers. As Justice stocked the band’s recordings in every location, New Hollow gained traction in late 2010, reaching the Hot 100 with the debut single “SiCK” and performing the National Anthem at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game.
