Biography
Hailing from New Jersey, Action Item functions as a five-piece pop/rock outfit whose sound centers on high-energy guitar and keyboard textures. Frontman Brian Cag, who handles lead vocals and guitar, anchors the lineup that also includes Mark Shami on guitar and keyboards, bassist Dave Buczkowski, and drummer Dan Brozek. The group issued its first EP, The World and I, in 2008 and promptly launched an extensive touring schedule. The Stronger the Love arrived two years afterward. By 2011 Action Item had cultivated a loyal audience partly through opening slots alongside Hot Chelle Rae, Allstar Weekend, Boys Like Girls, and similar acts. Resolution, their subsequent EP, appeared in 2013.
