Amely

Petie Pizarro launched Amely in 2008 as a solo studio venture centered on his vocals and guitar work, and the project rapidly advanced toward prominence. While laying down tracks alone for the initial EP On My Own that year, he brought in drummer Nate Parsell to handle more intricate percussion elements. Bassist Patrick Ridgen and guitarist Brandon Walden soon joined, completing the roster. The Orlando, FL quartet shaped a refined, emotionally driven style that recalled All-American Rejects and Anberlin, prompting a subsequent agreement with Fearless. Entering the studio with Paramore producer Mike Green, the band issued its next EP, Hello World, in 2010.
