Quality Control

Quality Control serves as a hip-hop collective that embodies the signature sound of Atlanta-based urban music label Quality Control Music. The lineup includes Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset from the label's leading rap trio Migos, and they issued the trap-heavy track "Too Hotty" in early 2017 prior to the label's compilation album Control the Streets, Vol. 1, which appeared later that year. "Ice Tray," spotlighting Quavo alongside labelmate Lil Yachty, quickly marked the second cut from the project to reach the Billboard Hot 100. A follow-up compilation surfaced in 2019. Control the Streets, Vol. 2 highlighted label royalty Migos (including an Offset solo feature) along with Lil Baby, DaBaby, City Girls, Saweetie, and additional artists. Quality Control associate Marlo passed away in an auto accident on July 11, 2020 at the age of 30.
