Biography
Beginning her professional journey at a very young age, Sara Paxton appeared in commercials during childhood and secured her screen debut in Liar Liar at eight. Throughout her early years she balanced academics with a growing slate of film and television projects. She held a recurring role on the sitcom Greetings from Tucson and guest-starred on CSI, Spongebob Squarepants, Lizzie McGuire, and Malcolm in the Middle before taking the lead in Darcy's Wild Life, the nature-themed comedy that aired within NBC's Discovery Kids Saturday-morning lineup. An extended arc on the prime-time drama Summerland followed. On the big screen she appeared in Sleepover as well as Aquamarine, the mermaid comedy that co-starred Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts.
