Biography
Born in Drammen, Norway, in 1975, Steff Nevers emerged as a contemporary country vocalist from the Nordic region. Among his key influences are the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alan Jackson, and Garth Brooks. Following a recording contract with AGR Television Records in association with Universal Music, he issued his first album, Closest to My Heart, in 2009, earning both critical praise and strong sales. The tracks “Closest to My Heart” and “One Beer a Day” appeared as promotional singles, while the album itself entered the Top Ten of the Norwegian albums chart.
