Hailing from Florida, Veorra functioned as an electronic duo whose productions merged atmospheric trap textures with progressive house influences. The pair came together in 2015 and maintained a deliberately low profile, identifying themselves solely as J, the male producer, and S, the female vocalist. It later emerged that S was Miami-based vocalist Mia Vaile. Their initial notice arrived via the track “Save Me,” featured on the 2015 debut EP Gold. Another release, the 2016 EP Emerald, followed before a Redditor disclosed that the act had already dissolved, prompting both participants to pursue separate ventures. J subsequently started the stylistically comparable electronic project Neovaii, while Vaile began releasing material on her own and appeared on recordings alongside Ship Wreck, Jinco, and Not Your Dope.
