7eventh Time Down

Formed in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, the Christian rock quartet 7eventh Time Down fuses forceful riffs with strong melodic hooks. Drawing from the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, the Who, and AC/DC, the group has performed together since 2004, when its four members—Mikey Howard on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Cliff Williams on bass, Eric Van Zant on lead guitar, and Austin Miller on drums—were still teenagers. Following the 2011 release of their debut album Alive in You on the Tooth & Nail imprint BEC Recordings, the band began averaging hundreds of concerts annually and shared stages with CCM acts such as Newsboys, For King & Country, KJ-52, Manafest, Fireflight, and Stellar Kart. Their second album, Just Say Jesus, earned both sales success and favorable reviews while reaching the Top 20 on Billboard’s Heatseekers and Christian Album charts. In 2015 the group issued its third studio album, God Is on the Move, which included the hit singles “Promises” and the commanding title track.
