Jordan Feliz

Jordan Feliz, a Dove Award recipient, creates contemporary Christian pop that blends classic rock, glossy retro R&B from the 1970s, and present-day pop. Breakthrough arrived with the 2015 single "The River" and its matching 2016 debut album. Future, his second album, reached the top of the Christian chart. Say It, the third album, surfaced in 2021 and was followed by Everything Good in 2024.

Raised in Clovis, California, Feliz entered professional music in 2006 with the faith-based hard rock and screamo group A Current Affair. Their first EP, Life in an Hourglass, presented a fluid screamo style. The Josh Auer-produced The Real Devastation EP arrived in 2009.

After exiting the band, he moved to Nashville in 2012. A string of temporary roles, among them handyman and valet work, preceded his position as a church worship leader. An invitation to a 2014 unsigned artists’ retreat held by Centricity Music led to an immediate signing. Recording of the debut album began in February with producers Colby Wedgeworth (Lincoln Brewster, The Main, Lydia) and Josh Silverberg (Newsboys, Plumb) and concluded in July. The first single, "The River," appeared that month, and he became a father in September.

"The River" ascended to number one on the Christian AC Songs chart and stayed there for ten weeks. The Beloved EP, released in October, entered the Heatseekers chart at number 12 before reaching the top spot and holding it for eight weeks. March brought the next single, "Never Too Far Gone," which reached the Top 20. The debut album The River arrived in April 2016 together with the third single "Best of Me." It debuted at number four on the Christian Albums chart and later earned Feliz the Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.

The live acoustic EP 1 Mic 1 Take, recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, followed in 2017. Future, the sophomore album, appeared in 2018 and debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart. Two years later, "Glorify," a collaboration with TobyMac and Terrian, became a hit and featured on the third album Say It. After two tours, Feliz returned to the studio in 2022 with four alternating co-producers. The first results emerged with the pop ballad "Somebody Loves You" in March 2023 and the worship anthem "The King Is Alive" in April. He finished the album during the remainder of the year while preparing its release through live performances. A duet single, "Better," paired him with Christian pop singer Jon. The fourth album, Everything Good, was released in October.
