Alex Sampson

Canadian pop artist Alex Sampson fuses buoyant beats, expressive singing, and soaring refrains to drive his emotionally charged reflections on romance and loss. A Thunder Bay native now residing in Toronto, he rose to notice in 2019 once he began posting cover versions on his social platforms and releasing his first single, "Stay Here." Still in 2019, he joined Aussie pop sensation Indiana Massara for the standalone track "Cold." He names 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction among his key influences, traces of which surface in later social-media favorites such as "All That We Could Have Been," "Play Pretend," and "BLIND," the last of these appearing on his 2024 debut EP Blurry Vision.
