Emerging from Canada, Alexander Stewart crafts heartfelt, romance-focused pop tracks infused with electronic elements. His path to recognition began through widespread attention on internet renditions of popular tracks, prior to attracting notice via original releases such as the 2020 tracks "Backwards" and "Blame's on Me," along with the main song from his EP If You Only Knew issued in 2023.

Born during 1999 within Toronto's bounds, Stewart spent his formative years in Timmins, Ontario, participating in church singing and school choir activities. Piano and guitar instruction also formed part of his early development. Initial musical influences encompassed the sounds of Shania Twain alongside the Beatles, followed by later discoveries of Lady Gaga and Sam Smith. During his secondary education period, he initiated online sharing of cover performances, notably including Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind," Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man," and a version of Camila Cabello's "Havana" that accumulated millions of views. Transitioning to original composition, he relocated to Los Angeles with the aim of advancing his musical endeavors. The year 2018 saw the launch of his track "Enamorado," succeeded two years afterward by the Backwards EP. Additional singles like "Back to You," "Would You Lie," and "Blame's on Me" came next. His follow-up EP, If You Only Knew, came out in 2023.
