Biography
Emerging in the closing years of the 2010s, the high-octane American hard rock unit Another Day Dawns blended brawny post-grunge, contemplative heavy metal, and hook-driven alternative rock into a single forceful identity.
Nick McGeehan on drums and Tyler Ritter on guitar launched the project in Lehighton, Pennsylvania in 2010; the lineup expanded to a trio once powerhouse vocalist Dakota McGeehan joined. Early sonic touchstones such as Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, and Avenged Sevenfold shaped their development, which soon translated into opening slots with like-minded peers including Avatar, Buckcherry, Hinder, and Cold.
Multi-platinum producer David Ivory (the Roots, Halestorm) discovered the band in 2016 and guided the creation of its first single, 2017’s “Love She’s After.” Three years later ADD released its debut EP, Stranger, tracked at Dark Horse Studios in Franklin, Tennessee and helmed by Joe Rickard (Red, Starset).
