Ashley Sienna crafts a sleek, seductive brand of pop that heightens its shadowy atmosphere through melody, a sound she calls manifestation music. Her profile rose after she began broadcasting live performances in the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic. She converted that streaming momentum into independent singles and projects, most notably the smoldering 2022 track “What You Need,” which spread widely online and paved the way for her first full-length album, I AM, in 2023.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Sienna nurtured an early passion for music, often singing into toy microphones at every opportunity. During her teenage years the interest turned into serious pursuit. She enrolled in the Ryerson Professional Music program at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative School and began posting original material in 2019. When lockdown measures took effect in early 2020, she devoted as many as five hours daily to live sessions on the Sessions Live platform, quickly becoming its most visible artist. After winning one of the service’s contests, the company featured her on a Los Angeles Billboard in 2021 and booked her for the Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas.

Throughout 2021 she issued two self-released EPs, Out of My Head and Restart, yet it was the 2022 singles “444” and “What You Need” that broadened her reach and secured synchronization placements. Once “What You Need” accumulated millions of streams, Sienna maintained a busy 2023 schedule. She dropped “Damn Those Eyes” in multiple versions, joined Ellise on the gothic-pop cut “Pretty in the Dark,” which also drew strong streaming numbers, and followed the tracks “I Win” and “Exorcism” with the year-end arrival of I AM.

Sienna opened 2024 by guesting on Sophie Powers’s “Obsessed” and reuniting with Ellise for “Dollface.” In April she unveiled her first new single of the year, “Aphrodite.”
