Biography
Bent Van Looy, the Flemish singer-songwriter now based in Paris, first attracted attention as a founding member of Das Pop, the indie pop outfit launched in 1994. He later supplied drums for Soulwax. His initial solo album, Round the Bend, appeared in 2013 after sessions in California that drew extensive input from Jason Falkner of the Three O’Clock and Jellyfish; the Belgian branch of EMI released the record that March. Three years on, in 2016, his next LP, Pyjama Days, entered the Belgian album charts at number one.
