Bohnes

Las Vegas vocalist Alexander DeLeon, after a decade as frontman for rock band the Cab, launched the solo project Bohnes. The effort originated from his visit to the Paris catacombs and served as an eclectic pop platform shaped by childhood touchstones such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, *NSYNC, and Queen. His first single, "Guns and Roses," appeared in 2015 and was soon followed by "Middle Finger," which echoed the mainstream rock of Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots. In 2016 he delivered a cover of Frank Sinatra's "Witchcraft." The next year he brought in Matt Johnson of Matt and Kim along with Bryan Sammis from the Neighbourhood to appear on the single "Six Feet Under." He also offered "702" and "My Friends" as further previews of his debut full-length.
