French producer and DJ Boston Bun crafts electronic dance music shaped by the sounds of '90s Chicago house and Detroit techno. Born Thibaud Noyer, he issued the hit single "Missing You" in 2017 via Ed Banger Records.

Noyer first encountered electronic music during his teenage years via tracks from the Chemical Brothers, Detroit Grand Pubahs, and Basement Jaxx; the bass-heavy, hook-friendly approach of those artists later informed his own anthemic productions. He experimented with bedroom production while sourcing samples from crates of vinyl, an approach that shaped the material on his debut EP, Housecall (Ed Banger), which appeared in 2012. International notice soon followed, leading to performances at clubs and festivals across multiple continents. The club-oriented Flasher EP arrived in 2013, and 2014's We Got Soul enlisted Chicago house producer Bear Who? alongside vocalist Piu-Piu for its pair of tracks.

Initial entries in the Just for Freaks series surfaced in 2015, after which he began issuing annual singles, beginning with the 2016 collaboration "Get into It" featuring Loreen. His biggest track to date, "Missing You," followed in 2017 and accumulated more than four million streams along with multiple remixes. He built on that momentum with the 2018 releases "Spread Love (Paddington)" featuring DVNO and "Better Together," then delivered another club success in 2019 with "Don't Wanna Dance."
