Biography
Calle París emerged in 2008 as a Madrid-based Spanish pop/rock duo whose early recordings echoed the melodic approach of La Oreja de Van Gogh. The act consists of French-Spanish siblings Patricia on vocals and Paul on guitar, both of whom handle songwriting, composition, performance, and arrangement duties. After securing a deal with Vale Music, an imprint under Universal Music Spain, the pair worked alongside producers Cameron Jenkins, known for his contributions to Amaral, and Carlos Jean, previously associated with Miguel Bosé, to complete their debut full-length album Palabras Secretas. Issued toward the end of 2008, the project yielded the breakout single “Te Esperaré.”
