Formed during 2003 in Melbourne, the old-fashioned hardcore outfit quickly carved out a distinctive place within Australia’s straight edge community. Its founding roster—Martin Kirby handling vocals, Anthony Harris on guitar, Ed Redclift covering bass and backing vocals, and David Bichard behind the drums—built an early reputation through relentless performances across the domestic hardcore network. A split 7-inch alongside Never Alone and the self-titled EP issued in 2005 both moved briskly, prompting Resist Records to sign the group for the full-length Nothing To Lose, which appeared in 2006. That same year brought multiple personnel shifts: prominent hardcore figure Michael Crafter, formerly of I Killed The Prom Queen, stepped in as frontman while Kirby moved to rhythm guitar following Harris’s exit, and Josh Manitta assumed the temporary guitar slot previously occupied by Julian Marsh. Even as the band’s visibility grew, Crafter departed in February 2007, prompting Kirby’s return to lead vocals and the addition of Ben Coyte on second guitar.
