Expire initiated development of their nostalgic hardcore approach back in 2009, even though their macho attitude and crushing breakdowns could easily suggest origins in the prior decade. Now operating under Bridge Nine Records, the group revives the grinding sonic weight once prevalent on imprints such as Victory Records while driving hardcore punk aggression past any earlier benchmarks. Their opening statement Pendulum Swings appeared in 2012, and despite an unceasing tour calendar they issued the next album Pretty Low in 2014.
