Biography
Blending electronic dance music with rap and singer/songwriter pop, Nashville duo Cassio Monroe produces a hybrid style built for parties. The pair came together in 2011 to spotlight the work of singer/songwriter Jeff Garrison and rapper Tripp Weir. Their paths first crossed when Garrison, who had relocated from Michigan to Nashville in 2009, appeared on a comedic online interview show filmed by Weir as cameraman. Within a few months the duo had already composed and tracked multiple numbers, one of which, "Shake That," climbed to number six on the Billboard Dance Chart in 2013.
