Nashville-based vocalist Conor Matthews crafts emotive material as a singer and songwriter whose style draws from pop and R&B traditions. He first surfaced on the internet during 2016 through a cover of Chris Brown's "Grass Ain't Greener," later drawing broader notice via the 2020 EP Heartbreak in the Hills and the 2024 release 42.

Born and raised in Chicago, Matthews started composing his own songs while still in his teens. Following graduation he relocated to Nashville, where Keith Urban noticed him at age 19 and facilitated a publishing agreement with Warner Chappell. That same year saw the online appearance of his Chris Brown cover. Three original singles arrived in 2018—"Inside Out," "I Told You," and "Love You Drink About"—with additional tracks following in 2019, among them "On and On," "Heaven Help Me," and "Midnight Flight." The EP Heartbreak in the Hills appeared in 2020 and included the single "Wait for Me." Subsequent releases such as "Snow in Miami," "Burn My Bed," and "Monster You Made Me" preceded his second EP, 42, issued in 2024.
