Biography
Working under the moniker Couros, Sheibani crafts downtempo house alongside left-field pop. His abilities across numerous instruments have also led him to contribute behind the scenes for both veteran acts and rising talents. The London, England-based musician first developed a passion for studio production after being invited to lay down guitar on a session. His earliest solo material surfaced online through the Authr alias, which earned 2014 recognition for an official Sony remix of Laura Doggett's "Moonshine." Following self-released singles issued as Couros in 2015 and 2016, Sheibani advanced to the Island-linked PMR label and delivered his debut project there later that year, the four-track EP Jupiter. The songs "Young" and "Undertone" surfaced in early 2018, shortly before a follow-up EP on the same imprint. Session credits for Couros encompass guitar on Angel's About Time, keyboards on ZAYN's Top 30 U.K. hit "Like I Would," and further work alongside Sabella and Fred Well.
