Cromo

Originating from Genoa, the rapper Cromo launched his production work in 2013 alongside fellow Italian rap artist Kalt. His entry into the local imprint Studio Ostile took place by 2015, when he also issued his first mixtape, OK-47. At that stage he shifted into freestyle performance, appearing at shows nationwide and entering various contests. Beyond the tracks shared with Kalt, he appeared on Young Slash’s “Diglielo” and drew YouTube attention with the solo cut “White Widow.” The next release, Demo-produced “Cromito Loco,” proved more popular still, accumulating over a million streams on the platform in spring 2017. Several months after that he surfaced again with “Tonico.”
