Biography
Singer/songwriter Darrell Evans enrolled at L.I.F.E. Bible College in Los Angeles, CA, where he simultaneously directed worship and guided high school and college students at Studio City Foursquare Church. After completing his coursework, he relocated to Tulsa, OK, and assumed worship leadership duties at a local Vineyard congregation while enrolling at Oral Roberts University to pursue studies in evangelism; there he also joined the school’s traveling music ministry ensemble. Evans next settled in Reno, NV, where he became deeply engaged in worship activities at University Family Fellowship before returning once more to Tulsa to serve as worship pastor at Open Bible Fellowship Church. That pastoral role directly led to his 1997 recording of the Hosanna! Integrity release Let the River Flow. The albums You Are I Am and Freedom followed in 1998.
