Biography
DJ Kass, a New York-based DJ and rapper, entered the world in the Dominican Republic during 1987 and spent his childhood in the Bronx. His father worked as a DJ, imparting professional skills that led Kass to launch his own performances while still a teenager. Prior to issuing original material, he experimented with remixes and seamless blends of tracks by other performers, uploading the results to SoundCloud. Around 2016 his debut originals arrived, starting with the high-energy party track "Tamo Open Yo." A remix of that cut appeared the following year alongside the follow-up single "Los Patrones." He issued his biggest release to date in 2018, the lean yet intense "Scooby Doo Pa Pa."
