Felix Snow

Hip-hop and electronic producer Felix Snow gained recognition through his glitch-pop melodies and unrestrained techniques for reshaping vocals. During his music studies at New York University he developed his skills further after encountering Alejandro Ghersi, known as Arca, who instructed him in the functions of Ableton. Shortly following his graduation, Snow secured a publishing agreement with Warner that opened opportunities to produce tracks for artists such as Leona Lewis, SZA, Nicole Scherzinger, Gallant, and Rita Ora. In roughly 2014 he contacted David Singer-Vine via Twitter, and the two tried to start a project titled Momma before parting after its unsuccessful outcome. The pair later reunited when both received invitations to contribute to singer Kiiara’s 2015 single “Gold,” and the strong collaboration prompted them to establish their joint venture EFFESS Records as a label and production company. Building on that shared direction, Snow and Vine assembled the pop trio Terror Jr, which included a vocalist identified only as “Lisa” whose name stayed undisclosed at first. Snow issued the joint EP No Winter Without Snow with Wintertime in 2017, then delivered several singles that year: the Mark E. Bassey and TYSM collaboration “Cherry on Top,” “Badi Boum” with Tsunami, and the solo cuts “Evening Buffalo,” “Tender Buffalo,” and “Demons.”
