Among the leading voices in Brooklyn drill, Fivio Foreign has emerged as one of its most visible rappers. His path began with guest appearances on tracks by others before the 2019 single "Big Drip" propelled him forward as a viral phenomenon. That track secured a major-label deal and led directly to his debut four-song EP, Pain and Love. The mixtape 800 B.C. followed in 2020, with the full-length debut B.I.B.L.E. arriving the next year. In 2023 he issued the EP Without Warning alongside several stand-alone releases, then returned in 2024 with Pain & Love 2.

Fivio Foreign first displayed his commanding East Coast style through early guest spots alongside associates Ether and Yelz Feva. The abrasive yet catchy "Big Drip" drew widespread attention during summer 2019, its video amassing millions of streams, after which he issued the follow-ups "Jumpin" and "Deli" to sustain the growing interest. By year’s end he had dropped Pain and Love and aligned with Columbia, capping the period with further singles such as "Critical." Early 2020 brought a high-profile placement on Atlanta rapper Rich the Kid’s "Richer Than Ever." The eight-track mixtape 800 B.C., released that April, collected the earlier cut "Wetty," the original "Big Drip," its remix with Lil Baby and Quavo, and five additional songs, entering Billboard’s Heatseekers chart at number one. Later that year he released the independent track "Move Like a Boss" featuring Young M.A. The 2021 single "Unruly," produced by Kenny Beats and Nils, preceded B.I.B.L.E., while additional collaborations included Nicki Minaj on "We Go Up" and City Girls on "Top Notch."

He maintained a steady output in 2022 through energetic joint releases with BigBop, FNF Chop, Malaa, and Rvssian. "Sicc & Tired" opened his 2023 slate, succeeded by "Hot Sauce" and "Still Movin" alongside Rich the Kid and Jay Critch. Without Warning housed the Kanye West-assisted "Concussion," and further appearances that year came on Tiffany Haddish’s "Til the Club Close" and Popcaan’s "Tequila Shots," capped by the solo cut "Why Would I?" After additional singles, Pain & Love 2 surfaced in 2024 together with "SUVY THEATERS."
