Galleon

The origins of Galleon trace back to the band Aragon, whose 1985 roster included guitarist Micke Värn alongside brothers Göran Fors on bass and vocals and Dan Fors on drums. In that configuration the musicians laid down their initial demo recording. Positive feedback prompted a name change to Galleon in 1989. Their debut album, LYNX-93, appeared four years afterward and introduced keyboardist Ulf Pettersson to the lineup. Once the record was issued, Pettersson departed, prompting an extensive search for a successor. Following numerous setbacks the keyboardist returned, restoring the prior membership. Two years after LYNX-93 the group issued King of Aragon, later followed by Mind Over Matter.
