Havana Brown

Havana Brown, an Australian known for her work as a DJ, producer, and occasional vocalist, launched her professional path as a member of the band Fishbowl. During performances throughout the Melbourne region, she found herself increasingly drawn to the disc jockeys working at the venues that hosted her group. After obtaining the necessary equipment and picking up techniques from a fellow DJ, she quickly began performing sets at venues throughout her native country. An affiliation with the Hennessey company as a DJ took her to international destinations, and in 2008 she joined the Pussycat Dolls and Lady Gaga on tour, handling the opening DJ sets for their concerts. Also in 2008 she secured a deal with Universal and issued the debut installment of her Crave mix series. The collection had advanced to its sixth volume by 2011, the same period in which Havana Brown made her debut as a vocalist via the single "We Run the Night." A global remix of that song subsequently appeared, featuring Pitbull as a special guest.
