Biography
Jordan Ward, a vocalist and performer with a background in movement, first drew notice through his poetic, synthesizer-driven take on alternative R&B. His initial appearance came via the 2019 release Valley Hopefuls, after which he reached Interscope for his 2023 album Forward.
Jordan Alexander Ward was born in 1993 and spent his childhood in St. Louis, Missouri, where an early attraction to stage work took hold. In addition to musical theater, his adolescent studies included ballet, jazz, and hip-hop dance. Immediately after finishing high school he relocated to Los Angeles and began working as a supporting dancer on tours with Justin Bieber, Becky G, and additional artists. While engaged in that work he kept pursuing his interest in singing, issuing the EP A Peak at the Summit in 2017 and following it with Valley Hopefuls in 2019. He later joined the Interscope Records roster and delivered his second full-length album, Forward, in 2023. The next year he supplied the song “Player Two” for the film remake of Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead.
