Biography
By the middle of the 1990s, the Mexican funk-rock outfit La Dosis had begun carving out its niche within the regional music community, issuing a debut self-titled album in 1996. The group next assembled a collection of well-known Latin urban tracks, among them “Pedro Navaja” and “Macondo,” which appeared shortly afterward as an EP. In 1998 La Dosis relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where it cut its sophomore release Hydro under the supervision of producer Sebastián Arocha.
