Los Gemelos De Sinaloa

Twin brothers Juan Moisés and Roberto Cárdenas established the Mexican regional act Los Gemelos De Sinaloa. Raised in a tough Southern California area, the siblings began singing together at age 13 and used earnings from neighborhood competitions to support their household. Their first release, the 2016 album Niña Interesada, helped build a grassroots audience drawn to accordion-driven corridos that recounted street experiences with sincerity. Over the following years the pair shifted away from their initial raw sound toward material with lighter, romantic or celebratory themes, while folding in urban touches that propelled hundreds of millions of streams for tracks including “Si Me Ven,” “Andamos Mejor,” and “No Le Aflojo.” Roberto embraced a Christian direction in 2022 by launching the separate project Los Del Cristo, yet Juan kept the Gemelos De Sinaloa name active and the brothers continued appearing on each other’s recordings. The group’s eighth album, EXCENTRICON, arrived in 2024.
