Biography
An Italian vocalist named Luca Napolitano first attracted widespread attention through his appearance on the 2008 season of the reality series Amici di Maria De Filippi, which subsequently launched his independent recording path. His birthplace was Avellino, Italy, on May 5, 1986. Competing in the show's eighth installment, he placed third, behind winner Alessandra Amoroso and runner-up Valerio Scanu. In the aftermath of that result, he entered the music market in 2009 by contributing tracks to the program's year-end anthology Scialla. The cut "Vai" from that collection climbed to Top Five single status and later anchored his debut EP, Vai, issued the same year and peaking inside the Top Ten of the Italian albums chart. Its successor, the single "Forse Forse," likewise registered a Top Five placement.
