Mane de la Parra came into the world in 1982 in Mexico City, Mexico, where his roles as producer, actor, and singer/songwriter would later take shape. He honed his craft during his student years at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Once his studies concluded, he turned to flamenco guitar and songwriting, an effort recognized by the 2005 BMI Peermusic Latin Scholarship Award for "Me Toco Amarte." A stretch of penning material for other performers paved the way for the arrival of his self-titled debut album in 2012.
