Movetron

Movetron came together as an electronic dance-pop trio in Finland during 1994. Their decision to record using Finnish lyrics helped the group develop a strong national audience, even as they issued the English-language single "Voodoo" in 1999. Under the direction of producers and songwriters Timo Löyvä and Jukka Tanttari, together with vocalist Päivi Lepistö, the act put out the album Irtokarkkeja -- Makeimmat Hitit in 2007. That project proved commercially successful, landing inside the Top Ten of the Finnish album charts.
