Biography
Natalie Layne works as a singer, songwriter, producer, and worship leader whose bright melodies and positive themes have drawn notice across the globe. Her first album, Be Human, arrived in 2020, followed by the EPs Castles in 2021 and Amen in 2023.
She spent her early years in Colorado Springs before settling in Nashville, where a home filled with music led her to begin leading worship services at age 12. After completing a master’s degree in commercial piano at Belmont University, she started creating and issuing her own material, beginning with the 2020 full-length Be Human. The independently released album attracted Centricity Music, which signed her the next year. Castles produced the popular streaming track “Steady,” prompting her to issue the single “Love Me Back to Life” on its own in 2022. Early touring opportunities supporting Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, and We the Kingdom, along with festival sets shared with Steven Curtis Chapman, Mandisa, and Crowder, helped build her profile. She opened 2023 by unveiling the six-track EP Amen and later supplied a set of intimate piano renditions of its songs.
