Biography
Korean vocalist Nayeon, known for her role in the K-pop ensemble Twice, has secured chart-topping positions across South Korea, Japan, and the United States through the group's upbeat dance-pop tracks featured on platinum-certified projects such as Eyes Wide Open in 2020 and Formula of Love in 2021. Her first solo outing arrived in 2022 under the title IM NAYEON, with a follow-up effort titled NA appearing in 2024.
She entered the world in Seoul during 1995 and signed on as a JYP Entertainment trainee in 2010. Early on she aligned with a brief-lived act before competing on the Sixteen reality program that ultimately placed her in Twice. The nine-member girl group launched in 2015 and quickly climbed the Korean and American rankings via successful full-length releases including Twicetagram, Eyes Wide Open, and Formula of Love, while also claiming multiple number-one albums and compilations in Japan.
Her official solo introduction came in 2022 via the self-titled EP IM NAYEON on JYP/Republic Records. That concise collection included “No Problem” alongside Felix of Stray Kids and “Love Countdown” with Wonstein. The project immediately led the South Korean album ranking and the U.S. World Albums chart while landing inside the Billboard 200’s top tier.

Several of its selections reached the South Korean top 40, among them “Butterflies,” “Heaven” featuring Sam Kim, “Magic” with Julie from Kiss of Life, and “HalliGalli.” The set also housed the single “ABCD,” which appeared on the Global Billboard 200. NA once more claimed the top spots on both the South Korean album chart and the U.S. World Albums chart.
